A range of cyanotype prints made at home, using organic matter such as herbs and flowers from my balcony, and my papercut works. The cyanotype process dates back to 1842, and is a camera-less photographic printing process that relies on ultraviolet light (from the sun or otherwise) to create striking white-and-Prussian-blue images.
I love the results, the range of colours, and the unpredictability of the outcome. It’s incredible what some chemicals, random pieces of paper and the sun can create!
