A bit about me…

Natalia Podpora is a Polish born illustrator and artist based in Witney, West Oxfordshire. She lives with her beloved grey cat Mika & her partner, and works on her art from her home studio/office. During the week she works in the publishing industry, something which enables her to use her creative skills and utilise her love of books and learning.

Her art work is primarily drawing based, but made across a variety of media including paper, lino-cutting and ceramics. She is particularly drawn towards the beauty that lies in the unspoken, the unknown, and our connection to nature, creating art that represents the wonder of it all. She is mostly inspired by her love of quiet moments and the beauty of life around, as well as Japanese woodblock prints, as well as her own roots and Polish folk traditions of paper cutting.

In 2025 Natalia was selected to be part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition with a large paper cut piece titled ‘Lost in Blue’, which was her first time showcasing her work in a gallery. She has experience working on editorial illustrations with clients such as SOHO House, as well as on the academic publishing side with the Historical Materialism journal.

Natalia takes part in Oxfordshire Art Weeks every year, often exhibiting unique and intricate paper cutting pieces, as well as art mobiles and a range of limited linocut prints.

Natalia is open to papercut art commissions, happy to work to a variety of sizes, style and colour requirements.
